Purpose
These Seal Usage Guidelines govern the authorized use of official recognition marks and digital seals issued by the International Registry of Excellence. The purpose of these guidelines is to protect the integrity, credibility, and authority of the Registry and its recognitions.
Ownership of Seals and Marks
All Registry logos, recognition marks, and digital seals remain the exclusive intellectual property of the International Registry of Excellence at all times.
Issuance of a seal does not constitute transfer of ownership or permanent rights of use.
Eligibility for Use
Use of official Registry seals is strictly limited to individuals and organizations that are actively listed in the Registry following successful induction.
Digital seals may only be displayed while the inducted entity remains validly listed in the Registry.
Conditions of Use
The Registry seal may be displayed on official websites, digital platforms, professional profiles, printed materials, and corporate letterheads of the inducted individual or organisation, provided such use remains accurate, proportional, and contextually appropriate. The seal must be presented as a mark of formal recognition by the International Registry of Excellence and must not be used in a manner that suggests endorsement, certification of specific products or services, or permanent status beyond the valid induction period. All usage must comply with Registry guidelines and remains subject to ongoing authorization tied to active listing in the Registry.
Authorized use of a Registry seal is subject to the following conditions:
– The seal may only be used by the inducted individual or organization to whom it was issued.
– The seal must not be altered, modified, resized disproportionately, or used in a misleading manner.
– The seal must not be displayed in a way that implies endorsement beyond the scope of Registry recognition.
– The seal may not be sublicensed, transferred, or used by affiliated or subsidiary entities unless explicitly authorized in writing.
Validity and Revocation
Permission to use a digital seal is conditional upon continued active listing in the Registry.
Authorization to use the seal is automatically revoked under any of the following circumstances:
– Expiry of the induction period where the inducted entity elects not to undergo renewal or re-verification.
– Failure to meet the Registry’s standards during the revalidation or verification process.
– Suspension or removal from the Registry for any reason.
Upon revocation, all use of the Registry seal must cease immediately, including removal from websites, digital platforms, printed materials, and promotional assets.
Monitoring and Enforcement
The Registry reserves the right to monitor the use of its seals and recognition marks.
Unauthorised or improper use may result in corrective action, including formal notice, revocation of induction status, and legal remedies where appropriate.
No Endorsement
Use of a Registry seal signifies formal recognition of excellence under the Registry’s standards. It does not constitute endorsement of products, services, opinions, or commercial claims.
Reporting Misuse
Suspected misuse of Registry seals or recognition marks may be reported through the Registry’s official contact channels.
Amendments
These Seal Usage Guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect operational or governance requirements. Updates take effect upon publication on this website.
